About KIT 01a - Chassis & Painted

The Chassis kit is supplied as a complete frame painted in your colour with the Blitzworld engine bay mounts allowing fitment of virtually any engine.

The Blitzworld chassis offers you the oppertunity to tailor build your own buggy to your own budget and engine. We have broken up all the kits individually so that you can select which kits you need and when to buy them. Click here to see Full kit options. The link shows all the build kits required to self build the Vigilante SKX buggy, including registration for the road.

The Vigilante chassis will take virtually any engine up to 2.5 litre (beyond this, we find that the power to weight of the vehicle is lost as the vehicle becomes too heavy defeating the object of a light weight buggy). Bike engines can be fitted but a buggy tends to be twice the weight of the origional bike, thus the Honda car engines are light weight, complete with gearbox, parts readily available powerful, and now the buggy is lighter than the origional car.

The 3 standard engines we offer are:
- 2 Litre FORD Zetec-E engine 150 bhp (brand NEW engine)
- 2 Litre Honda Type-R 250 bhp (used engine)
- 2.3 Litre FORD Eco Boost Turbo 330 bhp (brand NEW engine)

Our buggies are constantly updated to meet the latest VOSA requirements for the IVA test to make them road legal on a NEW numberplate. Our buggies are constantly put through their paces on a daily testing at our corporate track at Frodsham Cheshire.
