The BEAST Type-R Buggy is an upgrade on the Animal which used the Vigilante Chassis. The BEAST chassis is the latest chassis design from Blitzworld and has being very popular. The Beast Type-R uses a 2 litre Honda Type-R engine and 6 speed gearbox, and is our fastest standard production buggy available. The buggy comes fully Factory Built and is road legal on Brand new Plates, boasting 245 bhp in a buggy weighing in at 450kgs (depending on spec), giving a 0-60 mph in about 3 seconds with a top speed of about 160 mph plus.

The Buggy is designed for ON and SERIOUS off road use, it has nitrogen damped rebound FOX suspension on the rear, and custom built Blitzworld Mcpherson struts on the front, which have being tested to there limits at our track days and corporate entertainment centres.

The buggy is designed and built by Blitzworld in the UK, with alot of attention to detail including: 30mm thick rear arms, 42mm 4mm thick tube with full NASCAR type roll cage, Ten millimeter thick twin bushed plated engine mounts, FOX suspension, 12" standard Alloy wheels with ATV 6 or 8 ply tyres, or 19" alloy road wheels, multi PCD bolting centres, plug in engine tuning engine management system with software included for self programming & tuning, to name a few....

We feel that our buggy is one of the tuffest and best buggies on the market and we back it up with a 2 year parts & labour warranty, and is good for over 100,000 miles plus.

Chassis

The buggy frame is very strong with a NASCAR style full roll cage, made from 42mm 4mm thick Tube, Jig built and Mig welded to ISO standard using BRITISH STEEL and MADE IN THE UK. The chassis also has crumple zones front & rear and side impact protection.

Engine Management

The Vigilante Type-R runs DTA engine management system and not the standard Honda ECU. This allows you to plug the buggy into your own laptop, and tune the engine do engine diagnostics yourself.

Wheels & Tyres

Due to the design of the buggy the wheel hubs are multi drilled giving 3 different bolting centres offering fitment of more wheels. The hub design also offers fitment of a standard 12" ATV wheel upto a 19" Car wheel.

Suspension

The buggy has high performance adjustable FOX Nitrogen damped rear suspension, and custom made adjustable front Mc Pherson struts.

Engine

The engine for the Type-R is a used engine & 5 or 6 speed gearbox, serviced with all necessary components upgraded. ( a brand new engine is available please call for details).
